Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy creates change and empowers an individual by assisting them in opening up their own inner resources to make positive life changes.

“Change is Possible”

Clinical Hypnotherapy has been used widely and successfully for many years. It can assist in reducing feelings of stress and anxiety, pain management, increased confidence, motivation, sports performance, memory enhancing, stop smoking, weight control, phobias, fears and many more.

Hypnotherapy creates change and empowers an individual by assisting them in opening up their own inner resources to make positive life changes.

Hypnotherapy is a safe and pain free technique where the mind and body are totally relaxed. It's like being in a day dream state.

“What the mind agrees with, the body will respond to”

Whatever you can imagine, hold in your mind and feel as real, can become real…..

I have personally benefited from Hypnotherapy and subsequently made positive changes in my Life. Therefore I believe anything is possible! This has inspired me to help other people benefit from Hypnotherapy and to make positive changes for a healthy state of being.

We forget how powerful the mind is and how with positive suggestions we can reach our goals and desires, as long as we are in agreement with them.

I have a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with a Registered Training Organisation and my qualifications are nationally recognised by the Australian Government.

My ongoing Professional development enables me to grow as a therapist and I am also a member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists.

FAQs

What is hypnosis?

It is a guided form of relaxation where the mind and body totally relaxed.

Hypnosis is ultimately self-hypnosis and the hypnotherapist acts as a valuable partner in the process to provide guidance and direction to lengthen and deepen the natural trance state and then offers positive suggestions for a desirable healthy outcome.

Can I be hypnotised?

A hypnotherapist has no magical or special powers. You can hypnotise anyone if they want to be. You will never accept a suggestion that your belief system does not agree with. Hypnotic trance is a normal and natural state that we all enter into regularly many times throughout each day.

Does the hypnotherapist control the person?

Definitely not, since hypnosis is an interaction based on a mutual agreement to attain a desirable therapeutic outcome. “What the mind agrees with the body will respond to”

Will I be aware of what is happening?

A person in a hypnotic state knows where they are at all times, are able to move and adjust, can talk, hear, feel, see, taste and smell. All hypnosis is self hypnosis. Everyone has a different positive experience.

Does hypnosis work for everyone?

It will work when you are ready to make positive changes in your life.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the nature of the problem, your state of mind and your desired outcome as each person is different.  For any change to take place, you will require at least 3 consecutive sessions.
